Southside Indians Baseball Club is looking for Australia’s future baseball stars, coaches and officials in all age groups from T-Ball (U8) through to Masters (35+).

Participating in the Greater Brisbane League, the Southside Indians prides itself on being a multicultural, community driven and family orientated club. With nationally accredited coaches and four dedicated baseball fields, we are always looking to welcome new members to the Tribe!

Baseball is a safe, fast, non-contact team sport for boys and girls, men and women. No prior experience is required at any age level, including adults.

Sign-On Days

We will be hosting come and try days and sign-on around July and into August. Refer to the News page and Facebook for details. Bring your friends and family along and join in some baseball activities! Email secretary@indians.org.au if you have any questions.

Not a problem – just email secretary@indians.org.au and we’ll invite you to attend one of our training sessions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need any baseball experience?
A: Definitely not! Players of all skill levels are welcome, regardless of whether you are a Junior or Senior player.

Q: When does the baseball season start?
A: Junior baseball runs during Term 4 and Term 1 of the school year. The first regular season Junior games are usually in early October, and will be confirmed once GBL release their fixtures.

Q: What days are practice?
A: We will release practice schedules once our teams are formed.

Q: When are games played?
A: Junior teams play Saturdays, while Seniors play Sundays. Occasionally teams may have the opportunity to play night games under our lights, however players and parents will be notified well in advance.
